Positive Directions is a community based, client-centred, wellness orientated program. They are funded by Queensland Health to provide a care coordination, information and referral service for people living with HIV/AIDS (or PLWHAPerson (or People) Living with HIV/AIDS.) in Queensland. The program is based within Spiritus (http://www.spiritus.org.au/). They have offices around the state of Queensland, including Brisbane, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Townsville.

They offer a quality service by providing each PLWHA with a specialized team of people with HIV expertise in clinicalPertaining to or founded on observation and treatment of participants, as distinguished from theoretical or basic science. care, social determinants of health, nutrition, mental health, and resources. They provide three unique wellness programs in chronic care self management, nutrition, and mental health.

They work collaboratively with other services in the HIV sector and the general community sector to bring about the best health outcomes for PLWHA in Queensland.
