The AIDS Trust of Australia raises and disburses funds for HIV/AIDS research, education, care and support.

It works in partnership with its members, the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAOAustralian Federation of AIDS Organisations. AFAO is the peak non-government organisation representing Australia's community-based response to HIV/AIDS. AFAO's work includes education, policy, advocacy and international projects. ) and the state-based AIDS Councils (or their equivalents). The Trust raises funds through the generosity of individuals and corporations, and through landmark events. It does not receive government funding.
