The December issue of Positive Living contains articles on Neurocognitive impairment, Treataware CHIN WAG at the AIDS Impact Conference in Botswana, the launch of NAPWHA's Criminalisation Monograph, second line treatment trial, Diabetes[Diabetes mellitus] A disorder in which sugars in the diet cannot be metabolised into energy due to a lack of the enzyme insulin. Late-onset diabetes mellitus may be a long-term side effect of some anti-HIV drugs. and HIV, an interview with Bill Whittaker, quitting smoking, and obituaries for Robbie Edgar and Dennis Martin, as well as regular features.

The September issue contains articles on the International AIDS Society meeting in South Africa, developments in the United States HIV immigration policy, plans for Australia's national HIV strategy, treatment issues for people who are not eligible for Medicare, and an update on the female condom. We are also seeking feedback on Positive Living through a reader's survey.

The June 2009 issue of Positive Living, with a reflection on NAPWHA's 20th anniversary, and feature articles about anal cancer, depression, and the hope of a cure for HIV.
