This booklet contains the relevant law on disclosure of HIV status as it applies in New South Wales as at 1 January 2008.

Note for people in other states: the laws relating to disclosure of HIV status vary from state to state, which means that not all of the information in this guide will be relevant if you live in another state.

It has been prepared by the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre (HALC) and funded by the Law and Justice Foundation of New South Wales and the Community Development Fund of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
